SpineLab began as part of a wider project to help people better understand pain, movement, bone health, and how to take an active role in their own care.

“I admire the concept and your goals. I can see its clinical applications in the PT/rehab space.”

Bryce Hastings, Technical Director at Les Mills International

Today, that work is brought into clinical practice through high-value chiropractic, rehab, pain education, and bone health services in Jersey.

Samuel Jackson DC MChiro MBCA LRCC

Chiropractor

After earning his chiropractic degree in 2010, Sam worked in Southend before managing two clinics in London, in Kensington and Broadgate. He returned to Jersey in 2013 and has since developed a special interest in biomechanics, pain science, rehab, and technology-assisted care.

Alongside clinical practice, Sam has spent more than a decade developing a framework for helping people understand pain, movement, physical confidence, and self-management. This work brings together healthcare, fitness, animation, technology, and education to support clearer, more practical patient care.

In 2014, Sam founded and directed a non-profit clinic for six years, helping evaluate health risk factors in more than 4,000 people and supporting those whose pain, disability, or confidence affected their ability to stay active.

Sam has a calm, methodical, and thoughtful manner. His approach is patient-led, education-focused, and built around helping people feel at ease, understand their body, and take an active role in their recovery.

How Many Visits Will I Need?

This depends on your symptoms, goals, and how you respond to care.

At SpineLab, every appointment has a purpose. We focus on helping you understand your body, manage symptoms with more confidence, and gradually rely on us less as things improve.

Chiropractic

Every case is different. For recent spinal pain lasting less than twelve weeks, many people improve within 3–5 chiropractic sessions.

These visits are focused on reducing symptom intensity, improving comfort, and helping you stay active while your body recovers.

Rehab & Performance

When helpful, rehab sessions may be used to support your recovery and build confidence with the movements or activities affected by pain.

These sessions focus on practical symptom management, strength, movement quality, and gradually rebuilding your ability to do more.

Persistent Symptoms

For those with pain lasting over twelve weeks, termed chronic pain, they might have already tried treatments like chiropractic, medications or injections. In such cases, we quickly pivot to pain reframing, lifestyle change and rehab.

Our aim is to help them broaden their self-management techniques and adopt positive lifestyle habits to reduce pain sensitivity. This empowers them to steadily pursue their goals and resume cherished activities, even with persistent symptoms.
